Just when we thought that the launch of Kylie Skin would mean the debut of six products — face wash, toner, face scrub, serum, moisturizer, and eye cream — it looks like Kylie Jenner can't wait to launch even more options.

Since announcing what everyone thought would be the only products dropping on May 22 — after all, they're available as a set — the Kylie Skin Instagram account posted photos of two more skin-care products. Well, actually, the first one isn't so much a skin-care product as it is an accessory for your skin-care

products: a Kylie Skin Travel Bag. The zipped pouch is bubblegum-pink (like all of the product packaging) with a clear, logo-emblazoned front panel that lets you see all of your full-size Kylie Skin products.

The eighth product launching next week is a packet of Makeup Removing Wipes. According to the Instagram post revealing the towelettes, they "wipe away waterproof eye, lip and face makeup," and are oil-free and "safe for sensitive skin."

But while many fans were initially thrilled with the prices of the first six products, some are annoyed that Jenner is charging $10 for 30 wipes. "$10 for a pack of wipes?! Need to remortgage I think," one commenter wrote, while another said, "could have been biodegradable at that price."

Other followers, seeing that we may be getting more products than originally thought, started commenting with requests. "What about a sunscreen for the face???" one hopeful fan asked. "MAKE A LIP MASKKK😭😍," another demanded.

There's still a week until everything officially goes on sale, so perhaps Jenner already has additional products in the works. We'll let you know as soon as any more items are revealed

Calling it "the skin set" seems to imply that the products will be available as a bundle, and the next post confirms both that and the individual prices.

According to the caption posted with a flat lay of the products, the Foaming Face Wash will be $24, the Walnut Face Scrub will be $22, the Vanilla Milk Toner will be $22, the Vitamin C Serum will be $28, the Face Moisturizer — perhaps the "top-secret" moisturizer Kris Jenner was hinting at? — will be $24, the Eye Cream will be $20, and the full set goes for $125. (Though we can't help but notice what appears to be a seventh, unnamed product in a little pot — maybe a not-yet-ready lip balm?)

When he made history in Austria on Saturday morning, Eliud Kipchoge, the first person to run a marathon in less than two hours, was quick to refer to another jaw-dropping athletic milestone reached more than 50 years ago.

Higher, faster, stronger, better ... is there no end to what humans can do?

Amid jubilant scenes in Prater park, Vienna, the 34-year-old Kenyan declared: “I’m feeling good. After Roger Bannister made history, it took me another 65 years. I’ve tried but I’ve done it.”

Throughout the attempt, he had stuck to a pace of 2min 50sec per kilometre – the equivalent, as many later pointed out on social media, to running 100m in 17.2 seconds, 422 times.

He hit the one-hour mark with 11 seconds to spare and, with 500m to go, burst clear of his support team to break the hallowed two-hour barrier, punching his chest twice in celebration.

As he sprinted towards the finish line, where his wife, Grace Sugutt, was waiting to greet him, Kipchoge waved to the crowds. Upon breaking the tape he grabbed a Kenyan flag and was mobbed by his support crew.

How Eliud Kipchoge Pulled Off His Epic, Sub-2-Hour Marathon

Sports physiologist Michael Joyner breaks down what it takes to run a marathon in less than two hours—and how it could happen again.

On Saturday morning in Vienna, Austria, Eliud Kipchoge, the world's finest marathoner, became the first person in history to run 26.2 miles in under two hours. His time of 1:59:40 required him to maintain an average pace of just under 4:35 per mile. That is, to put it mildly, soul-searing speed. Even a supremely fit person would struggle to run at so aggressive a clip for more than five or six minutes in a row. On Saturday, Kipchoge held it for just shy of 120.

But Kipchoge's performance will not be recognized as an official world record.

 

The event was not an open competition; it was held for Kipchoge and Kipchoge alone. What's more, a rotating cast of pacers shielded him from wind throughout the run, and a bicycle-riding support team was on hand at all times to deliver him water and fuel. It was not so much a race, in other words, as an exhibition event designed for speed. A one-man, all-or-nothing time trial.

In addition to his pacers and support crew, Kipchoge had the advantages of running on a fast course and wearing a pair of controversial shoes purported to shave minutes off a marathoner's overall time. All of which raises an important question: How much of Saturday's performance was down to Kipchoge—by most accounts the best marathoner of this generation, and perhaps of all time—and how much of it was down to everything else?

In the video above, we put that question to physiologist Michael Joyner, a renowned expert in human performance who in 1991 hypothesized that a two-hour marathon was possible. Georgia’s Abortion Ban Is Polarizing Hollywood

ver the last several decades, Georgia has become known as the Hollywood of the South. It’s become one of America’s top movie and TV locations, thanks to generous tax incentives; in 2017,

 

it surpassedCalifornia as a shooting site for the highest-grossing domestic films, and it’s also the backdrop for many TV shows, including Netflix’s Stranger

Things and Ozark, AMC’s The Walking Dead, and the forthcoming HBO series Watchmen.

 

But on May 7, when Georgia governor Brian Kemp signed into law an extreme “fetal heartbeat” bill that bans women in the state from having abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, the film community’s many liberal denizens began questioning the industry’s future in the state.

A handful of Hollywood producers and production outfits such as David Simon,Killer Films (First Reformed), Color Force (Crazy Rich Asians), and Mark Duplassvowed to boycott the state in the wake of the law. “Don’t give your business to Georgia,” Duplass tweeted last week.

“Will you pledge with me not to film anything in Georgia until they reverse this backwards legislation?” Actress Zoe Kazan joined in, tweeting, "Actors, producers, directors: refuse to film in georgia & alabama. call the governors, tell them why."

Amy Berg, a show-runner known for her work on Counterpart, Eureka, and Leverage, also supports a boycott. “It’s disturbing as hell that these men think they can legislate our bodies and we need to band together with our male allies to make them feel the consequences of their decisions,” she told me by e-mail. “They clearly don’t care about our rights, at least we can make them care about their money.”

Berg and others calling for a Georgia boycott hoped the entertainment industry would follow en masse. But there has been little immediate response from studios or other major players in the industry, and a great deal of pushback from Georgians. 

 

Lisa Ferrell, a producer and co-president of the Georgia Production Partnership, expressed the feelings of many locals when she said in a statement that she opposes “any calls for a boycott of Georgia by some members of the industry outside of Georgia.

 

We feel this would primarily hurt those of us who live here and work in the entertainment industry.” Berg countered, “I feel terrible for those in the film community there as surely they’ll be affected by any lasting boycott, but unfortunately this issue is larger than any one of us. . .

 

We’ve already seen the momentum of these attacks carry into other states. This is a national crisis.”

​Berlin-based French designer Lou de Bètoly will crochet just about anything. Her jeans are embedded with different yarns that stretch from the knees to the ankle, a sassy asymmetrical miniskirt boasts dainty needlepoint, and knit knee-high black boots recall Victorian mourning garb.

 

In her collections, nothing is short of fantastical and the fabrics and textures are beautifully random, with an almost trippy, stream-of-consciousness quality, as in a sweater with frothy clouds of white yarn mixed with constellations of pinhead-size beads and a slinky evening dress that is reminiscent of a spiderweb dotted with 3-D floral appliqué. De Bètoly, who launched her label a year ago, likens her method to “painting with a needle,” describing it as “wild and free.

Ivanka Trump is shutting down her namesake retail business, 17 months after starting her work at the White House as a senior adviser to her father, the president of the United States. The Wall Street Journal reports that the company’s 18 employees have been informed that it will be closing and that Ivanka will address them later today.

 

“Ms. Trump had contemplated the move in recent months,” the article says, “as she grew frustrated by the restrictions she placed on the company, IT Collection LLC, to avoid possible conflicts of interest while serving in the White House.”
